With the annual Scottish Food & Drink Excellence Awards Dinner only weeks away, the whole team at Dean’s were thrilled to find out that two out of our three new gluten free shortbread varieties have been selected as finalists in the bakery category.

We launched our gluten free shortbread in 2016, and we’ve received lots of great comments from customers who were delighted to find we had launched a gluten free version of our famous melt-in-the-mouth shortbread:

“I’ve just bought these for the first time, and they are the best gluten free biscuits I’ve ever had!!’’

Dean’s gluten free shortbread comes in three delicious varieties – all butter, choc chip, and stem ginger & choc chip.  If you haven’t tried them yet look out for them on the ‘free from’ fixture at Morrison’s supermarkets, Holland & Barrett online, and various gift and deli retailers around the country.

We’re already working on some delicious new gluten free shortbread varieties for Christmas so watch this space!

Meantime we’re keeping our fingers crossed as we count down to the awards dinner on May 18th at the SECC Edinburgh.
