News Release New Board Member announced by Dean's of Huntly
Mr Les McArthur (36) has been appointed Operations Director of Dean's of Huntly bringing the number of directors to five. Originally from Inverness and a graduate of the Glasgow College of Food Technology, Les has been a key member of the management team since joining Dean's in March 2003. Previously he worked at Patak's Foods in Dundee and Manchester and Christian Salvesen. Les ensured production met an increased turnover of 40% during his first eight months working at Dean's and the company's growth continues with eight new products launched this month. Les said "This is a very exciting time at Dean's. I am part of a very positive thinking management team and I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of meeting the ever increasing demand for new varieties of shortbread and premium biscuits". Making the announcement, MD Bill Dean said "Les gas done a superb job of building and managing an operations team and providing a clear structure for all who work with him during a period of rapid growth".
