Some of our team were in Birmingham last week for the BBC Good Food Show, an event that proved to be a big success yet again. It was in fact the 15th year that we’ve attended the show and it just keeps getting better and better.

For consumers attending the show, it was an ideal time to buy some of our products in time for Christmas, others used it as an opportunity to sample the products they can buy in our online shop.

Whilst it’s a great sales opportunity for us, the main benefit is getting to meet our customers and getting their feedback about our products, particularly the new ranges we’ve introduced lately.  We were certainly encouraged by the feedback we received during the four day show.

Trio 72All in all, it was an extremely busy event, however our brand manager Siobhan Ingram managed to take a few minutes to be interviewed by one of the BBC journalists for the BBC Good Food Show Podcast.  During the short chat Siobhan talks about the Dean’s history, and the popularity of shortbread during the festive season.  You can listen to the podcast here, it is No.18 on the iTunes podcast list.

There’s still time to get your festive supply of shortbread, or any other Dean’s products via our online store and have it delivered before Christmas.  We also have a full range of hampers which we can deliver direct, with your own gift message.
