We know we’re now well into January, but we just wanted to wish a very happy 2014 to all our followers! We hope you all enjoyed a peaceful festive break and are now looking forward to a healthy and prosperous new year.
The run up to Christmas is always an especially busy time for Dean’s, as we step-up production in preparation for the Christmas rush. It’s also a hectic time for online orders as more and more of us choose to shop from the comfort of our armchairs – very sensible too!
This Christmas we were very happy to launch our brand new website just in time for the festive rush, and as a result, welcomed even more Dean’s fans to our new online store.
And as we returned to our desks last week, raring to go and looking forward to another exciting year, waiting for us on our return was this charming, hand-written letter from Mrs E Ramsay of Forfar.
”I’m just writing to your staff to express my appreciation of the really lovely Christmas (shortbread etc) Hampers you created. The quality of your products is superb, I sent two hampers to friends and they are just so delighted with the wonderful variety. In fact, when my Christmas ‘piggy-bank’ recovers, I am going to treat myself!
I’m told the new ‘cheese nibbles’ are especially tasty, I don’t think the stores here stock them, but as I cannot get out much now, I have to rely on a shopper browsing for new products (It was due to your ads in the Dundee Courier (D C Thomson) I found our about the lovely hampers).
So, I send you very best wishes for continued success in 2014 and happiness and good health to all your bakery team.”
