Front of House Manager

You will be an ambitious, dedicated and disciplined Front of House Manager looking for a new challenge, who can demonstrate a progressive background within the commercial catering environment.  Reporting to the Visitor Centre Manager you will assist in the day to day management of the Front of House operation ensuring the Company’s reputation for excellent customer service is always maintained.

The main duties and responsibilities of this appointment will be to provide a professional catering service in addition to supervising and managing the staff.  You will also be expected to help develop and evolve all Bistro services within the Front of House area, ensuring regular adjustments and improvements are both recommended and implemented.  People Management forms a large part of this role and you will be expected to assess employee performance and recognise training and development needs as appropriate for the staff under your supervision.  You should be able to motivate and lead by example, ensuring you and your team enjoy your work and proud of your work.  Strong supervisory and management skills are essential along with the ability of being able to communicate with staff at all levels.

You will ensure statutory Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures are adhered to.

You will be required to work 5 days out of 7 and have the flexibility to work different hours depending on the needs of the business as this is a 7 day a week operation.
