Key Account Manager

Recognised as an award winning company for both product and people, we are currently recruiting for this full-time position within our Commercial area.    This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, dedicated and disciplined sales professional, to join a growing and well known business focused on manufacturing and selling premium quality shortbread and biscuits.

You will be working within our sales team and the main duties and responsibilities of this role will be to contribute to the future growth by managing a portfolio of existing accounts, and proactively developing new key accounts across all trade sectors.  We are seeking an individual with drive and enthusiasm, with excellent communication and computer skills, and most importantly confidence in dealing with people at all levels.   A minimum of two years sales experience, preferably within the food industry is required and you should have a track record of developing new business as well as building relationships with existing customers.

The successful candidate will be required to travel regularly within the UK to maximise sales opportunities, meeting with customers at their premises, and attending exhibitions as required.
