cafe bistroEaster is almost upon us again, and with the promise of longer days and better weather (we hope!) many of you will be preparing for a short break, or some day trips with the kids during the school holidays.

At Dean’s, we love Easter time.  Our hard working production staff get a well deserved week off, while our shop & café bistro are gearing up for their first really busy spell of the season. We also get to renew acquaintances with old friends and some of the many people returning to the area to visit family and friends.  It’s really nice that Dean’s is on your calendar of ‘things to do’ when you return to the north east.

kitchen wareThis year, all our visitors old and new will see a few changes. We’ve refurbished our café bistro area, as well as installing a lift to improve accessibility for everyone.  We’ve also made some changes to our menu options with the introduction of a very popular Sunday carvery as well as delicious afternoon teas.  There are more menu changes still to come so watch this space.

In our newly extended shop you’ll also find a more streamlined layout to make browsing more enjoyable, as well as a wider choice of gifts to choose from.  And of course you’ll also find the full range of Dean’s products to tempt you!For those further afield you can still keep up to date with all our various activities via our Facebook and twitter pages.  We had an incredible response to our KitchenAid mixer competition earlier this year, as we marked the start of celebrations to mark our 40th anniversary.  We’ve got lots more activities planned, so please continue to follow us, and encourage friends & family to do the same.

  • Sunday carvery served 12–2pm – no booking required
