Chocolate Raisin Squares

These indulgent chocolatey squares are packed with shortbread and chewy raisins. Perfect for sharing with friends and family for a delicious, sweet treat.

175g plain chocolate, broken into small pieces

100g butter

175g condensed milk

275g Dean's shortbread biscuits - Traditional or All Butter, any shape

50g raisins

Chocolate raisins

Follow The Steps

Line a 23cm square tin.

Put the chocolate, butter and condensed milk into a pan and gently heat, stirring occasionally.

Once melted and all combined, roughly crumble the shortbread into the pan and add the raisins. Stir this well until the chocolate mixture, shortbread and raisins are combined.

Put the mixture into the lined tin and use the back of a spoon to press into the tin and level out the top.

Use the chocolate raisins to decorate. We used three chocolate raisins per square.

Chill in the fridge until firm. Remove from the tin and cut into squares.
